On July 11th Dubuque will be hosting its 2nd annual suicide awareness and prevention walk at Murphy Park. This 4-5 mile walk was founded by Tara Sisbach last year and will begin at 8am. There will be information tables available about suicide awareness and prevention from different local organizations including The Community Circle or Care and Loras College. Please make sure to bring the whole family! We will be featuring artwork from the Dubuque youth organization, EXPRESS YOURSELF along with a local band and several kids games and prizes.Teens from the Dubuque community schools will be volunteering their time to babysit children for parents who would like to leave their children at the park .
